James Scott, Motherwell

What do we think about the Motherwell goal listening to all these commentators making excuses for him, oh he is just a youngster didn't really know what's expected, pure push in my opinion I don't care that he is only a youngster even in the playground at school you learn to return the ball when an opponent puts the ball out of play to allow treatment to someone

The other ten know the script if he does not and one of them recieved the pass form him to finish, so basically now they have two who do not know the players code re injuries. Bullshit they played for it and they took it without return if in error.

Exactly as Boab says, the other 10 knew the script. Also they’re manager was quite animated at 2-1 with ambition’s of getting an equaliser which I thought was quite pathetic considering the goal was bad sportsmanship and they came to sit in and hope for the best.HH

I don't know why all the flak is directed at James Scott- remember , he didn't score - it was his team mate , who gleefully ran to the corner flag at the Celtic end to grin and celebrate .
He is as much to blame .
But the real cherry on the cake was their manager's pitiful excuse when asked why he didn't order his players to immediately concede a goal '' I didn't know what to do ? '' he squeaked .
Really ?

Exactly. Doesn't everyone learn that, like, from the time they're a fetus?

'' I didn't know what to do ? '' he squeaked .

You didn't know what to do? How did you become coach? Did you win a raffle?

Sheesh. What a crappy way to soil a clean sheet.

Listen if the boy Scot didn't know that the sporting thing to do was give the ball back, you have to ask yourself who is coaching him, that to me is the worrying thing.
However I dont buy that for a minute, he was told by his manager what to do and on hearing the crowds reaction he turns to look at the dugout for guidance and then continued with his "breakaway".

It was unsportsmanlike to say the least, cheating circa 50,000 fans that had paid to watch it more likely though.

When karma arrives in Mwell I for one will raise a wee half to her/him.

Just shows the whole team up for what they are - cheating deperadoes.

Hey, no knickers for twisting here.

I personally love the fact that such a horrible team tried to cheat us, did the wrong thing and got pumped.

That dafty will have the rest of his career blighted by cheat cheat cheat chants.

And they got NADA from their sleekit deception.

Karma one sexy tooshed bitch if ye ask me.

✊

Celtic a team like no other.

Overcoming adversity and unsportsmanlike, unfair playing field since 1888.

Still the champions, now thats where true class shows.

The 2 questions I would like answered is
1 we had possession why kick it out?
2 why did Christie fall down 1 yard before the touchline and not 1 yard after the touchline??
