Obviously I don't agree with his views on this subject, but I agree it was the correct decision to take this down. We are trying to encourage new members to post and if they see threads like that then it may put them off. Well done for doing this.

Why it's vitally important not to suppress people's right to their opinion. This is the most honest, selfless, thought-provoking interview I've watched on the subject of this ongoing tragedy. You can either watch or switch of the later segment.

WC posted he'd moved it to general chat, I didn't post nor cast a vote on it as I've been not so active recently but we are a club open to all, religion , politics should be given a wide berth on here jmo and I'm aware that some things cannot be ignored by decent folk.
As Celtic fans we will always support the oppressed as its in our DNA , but there's two sides to each story and this one has umpteen sides.

I have my ' strong views' on all of it going back long before the hamas atrocity and Netanyahu's aspirations are no different to Hamas.
Fact is that we have many Jewish supporters who will feel let down by the GB rightly or wrongfully.

If WC has decided to bin it then good, is this a football forum or a political platform?
Football Forum to me and I try to keep out of it as I know my views will be agreed to by most and others will think I'm mad.

Either way our mutterings on here only express views and some folk should remember that, nothing we say our do , in fact had all of Scottish football from spfl to the Highland league agreed with the green brigades ill timed banner would it make a difference ?
I'd say about as much difference as 1 million people marching in London against the Iraq war-zero

Or is it slagging Celtic ( someone help please I'd rather not go through all the posts) , if it is about he's Jewish or connections to Israel who could blame him for his view?
Imagine 700 coming to Scotland and shooting everyone in sight, both countries similar population, we'd be out for blood but there has to be a balance all this bombing in Gaza, Yemen etc is only going to recruit more to the Hamas way of thinking which is probably what they wanted in the first place.

I think our Canadian Right Back is an excellent player and if he supports sevco, then no harm to him as long as he does his best for us in the Hoops.

What part of that 1st quote don't you get Winter? Read before sticking your oar in.
Now if anyone wants to comment on the situation in Gaza do it on the Victory to the Resistance thread. Or start your own. I put this thread up so WC wouldnt get blamed for pulling the original thread.
Now I'm drawing a line under it.
