Too early for me to be disappointed in Palma Vigo he's only played what...45 mins v Dundee and similar in rotterdam?
Too soon to make an informed judgement.
He's a player who appears to want to take defenders on and granted we've not seen enough of that just glimpses, hopefully when he's bedded in and has more minutes under his belt he can deliver , in the SPFL at least. Going to take more than what we've seen for me to judge his ability.
Will have to really step on it to reach jota or abadas contributions.

And the Stats or performance analytics is what every club uses to see what a player does bad and does well and his doesn’t lie
I’ve not seen enough of the new guys yet to make a sound decision.
From performance analytics Palma has pace to burn one of the reasons we went for him.
We may not like our players we got in but our scouting department does do the groundwork on the personnel.
Even though I doubt we would have went for any of them if we were spending more than the 2/3/4 million we did
When we needed to buy maybe 3 in the £6/7 million range.
But who knows Mibbs super Coach can turn them into stars for somebody else to enjoy. Afterall that’s what our club is a surrogate for ££££££££ the EPL and beyond.

I think we had such a strong squad that losing few of the squad who were valuable plus lots who were not valuable was good business. And I trust scouts from past record that players they suggest replace the players we can no longer afford are good replacements.

I dont think we can afford instant upgrades but the potential of new batch has more than offset the loss to squad

Still think we have too many players.

But the upgrade players I would like are in wage bracket beyond out model

We either break model and become debt sustaining scam capitalist club like most of the best teams on pitch- madness imo

just buy 10 million players thats all we ask

Legia are a top team imo. And the big defender looks like a good buy if he isnt crocked.

That's where we differ TET I really do care about competing in Europe, but understand the gulf in talent to the petrodollars clubs but we could still show ambition in that department.
Holm I've not seen anything from him (yet) to suggest he's a ready made replacement for mooy though its early days and mooy was at his peak or approaching it , performances for us and in Qatar proved that much so he's a huge loss for me. I've not seen Holm put in a performance even close to a good one of mooys, so I'm unsure why you think he's miles better or I've missed something.

It's also not as though we dont pay big money to players, not EPL and other standards but still a lot in wages.

He was struggling with a back injury, the reason he retired and was training by himself when we signed him.
I think after the world cup we saw what a fully fit Mooy can bring, defence splitting passes , umpteen assists and goals , none of our midfielders are delivering all these things right now.
You're right he wasn't always on it, especially at the start and sometimes near the end of his Celtic and football career but he delivered some outstanding performances in big games, don't think anyone could deny that.
His experience would've been a huge boost for us in the cl , would it have meant we'd won? Idk
Make us stronger?
I'd say definately.

It’s a stat they didn’t lose a game you win 3 points a draw 1 point.
No defeats when they played together
Same stat CCV and Rocki no defeats.
And I doubt no manager would pick any player who had no ball control
And I doubt no top five league would pick said player but he’s now in Spain
And I think Jacynta has nae problem with said ball control
