What Advice Would You Give Neil Lennon

They claim to be the most successful club in the world and this surely has some global image rights attached. I would anticipate there is some financial gain that could be gleaned from this prestigious position. What do you think Lawell?
I think this could be challenged in court (although I’d like a corporate law solicitor’s view here) but don’t understand why we won’t do this.

Hilarious thing is, while our media are dragging tweets out from the Lincoln Red imps to belittle or quad treble there is never any mention of Al Ahly when the scum talk about being the most successful club in the world 🤔🤔

Al Ahly - 118 titles

The Cairo giants are the most successful side in the world game having dominated the Egyptian league since their founding in 1907. The club has won 41 national championships, 36 national cups, and 11 national super cups to cement their status as Egypt's most successful - they have also never been relegated from the top flight.

They are also the most successful club in Africa having won a record eight CAF Champions Leagues, a CAF Confederation Cup and six CAF Super Cup titles, another record.

On top of that they have also won four African Cup Winners' Cup titles (another record), an Afro-Asian Club Championship, an Arab Club Champions Cup, an Arab Cup Winners' Cup, and two Arab Super Cups (another record).

Al Ahly are second only to Real Madrid for international titles, part of the reason they are known as Nadi El Qarn (Club of the Century).

Most successful club in Africa. Dont see our media promoting them do we?? No, but some part time team that play pub teams on a big rock get a full page 👍

There is nothing to challenge the case was plaid out in the high court of Glasgow via Craig White the evidence was laid bare, we are not dealing with Law, what is in place is a commercial TV deal which goes to the SFA, so the SFA can tell the TV mob what the TV mob need to sell the deal , but the bottom line is its not company law, the club/co was dealt with, the taxman pulled the plug, no returning from the dead , creditors stiffed the end, players TUPED as contracts ended, only a football club has a licence to play football, the new *TheRangers had to apply for a licence with their new co. they can moon howl all they like, but liquidation and death is what it is, all clubs cannot fuck the punters and then come back or they would all do it and shed massive debts and not pay tax.

One other note of mention, if it was only a company that was changing in a liquidation why would you change the name to Rangers 2012 so that it looks like 2012 that is been liquidated. Unfortunately 2012 had a former name Rangers Football Club Ltd 1872 and an incorporation date and death date.

Club and company as one the company the commercial vehicle and the club the licence to play, both gone.
I don’t think anybody is challenging the liquidation of Oldco except their fans who constantly talk about being ‘relegated’ and the SMSM sycophants who pander to them.
The issue is Newco and the transfer of history to them. You’re right when you say if you can buy history then there could be a lot of rewriting. They justify this on the basis that Holding Co/Club are two different entities and persist with this despite a court ruling to the opposite. This is the issue worth challenging (?). We are the most successful existing club in Scotland and probably Europe. The SFA had absolutely no right to agree to any trophies transfer. Sevco were in no position to demand anything. They should have been on their knees groveling not making demands.
Rules had already been bent to even let them into the bottom tier.
That our club has allowed this pass without challenge is, on the surface of it, disgraceful. But then again who knows what shenanigans Pete & co have been up to in the background.

"relegated" would have meant Mr Finloch would have won his bet from Coral , he bet Rangers to get relegated and stood to collect quarter of a million, they never got relegated or demoted, the old Rangers finished second and were liquidated, the SFA witheld the position money Dundee took club 12 place, Had they been simply relegated oor demoted the money would have still been theirs albeit they could forfiet money in punsihment, but it would have been theirs all the same. Had they been relegated you think shareholders and debenture holders and club deck season ticket holders would have accepted been told sorry mate the company is going you have lost your shares and debentures. Want to buy new ones in the new company seperate entity.

If newco could buy the history of oldco does that mean we could have bid higher and bought it 🤷‍♂️

not that we’d want it but if you can buy history then we could have been going for 106 or whatever it would be

Didn’t think so

Sfa/celtic/newco and whoever cobbled together this 5 way agreement which let them keep their history and their tainted titles to stop the ‘Armageddon’ that would happen without them

This is part of the myth to keep the ‘old firm’ alive allegedly

"They justify this on the basis that Holding Co/Club are two different entities and persist with this despite a court ruling to the opposite."

Then why was the club punished for the sins of the company if they are individual entities?
You also would not invest in a company that could simly walk away with your money by putting itself into Administration, fans invested like Celtic fans into a club, a club with a registerd number, a club incorporated within a business structure to finance and employ players for the club to make and bring in returns for the investors and shareholders.

If you repeat something often enough, then it becomes "a fact." When it is then "a fact", it becomes history.
This is what the SFA, SPFL, Peter Lawell, Dermot Desmond, the Celtic Board and the MSM are at.
It only takes two generations to achieve it. The common goal they have in pursuing this is profit.
Supporters are but the gullible pawn in their game. There to be fleeced by all the fore mentioned.

Like to add also that UEFA, SFA and FIFA are associations just like bowling clubs, they are not legal mechanisims apart from their business duties and tax. Associations can implement and change rules to suit, but they cannot change legal matters and that includes liquidations.
UEFA could insist the moon is made of cheese and it is their associatiom and prerogative to do so, but it does not change anything, it merely masks and allows the manipulation of the customer to continue whilst revenue streams are made from it, however, laws are lagally binding when it comes to outright fleecing and cheating the authorities HMRC, when that happens the mask is pulled away and association rules do not mean a jot in Law. They are simply members agreements, a bowling club if you will.

Wasn’t that part of the ‘deal’ cobbled together by the SFA and friends?
Oh...we bend the rules to let you in and you get to keep these titles...but wait a minute you have to give us something in return. I know why don’t we impose some pittance monetary penalty to make this look like you were punished? Completely for show and I’ve no doubt the huns grabbed this eagerly with both hands.

They were not punished the money taken was to pay for the football debts, monies owed to other clubs etc. They imposed a fine on Craig White, I know, and told him he would never hold a post in football in Scotland again and then proceeded to give a vote of confidence to a South African convicted tax dodger branded a glib and shameless liar.

We have been taken for mugs far to long imo. We the supporters buy 5he St's and 5he merchandise. So I believe we should be given the respect we are due. Without us there is no Celtic.

As far as I am concerned that was done deliberately to make it look like a monetary penalty. What was it £250K.? Cue the SMSM (the same 140 years of history gone in 8 mins crowd) with the ‘relegated’ and ‘made to pay’ line. Poor old Rangers - Haven’t they been punished enough? They were never fkn punished at all. All fkn spin. And our club sits like plums and watches all thus happen without a real cheep.
Well I for one would like to look at some way to force the bent SFA to tell these chunts they’ve got 0 titles. Does that take a court ruling?

Correction, all clubs sits like plums, more than one space was stolen. Celtic are also not the football police for other clubs, if Milne etc want to sit taking crumbs from an old firm farce then thats your problem right there, they will not bite the hand that feeds and that probably sums it up. Sheeple fans to be fleeced at will.

Realistically there isn't going to be time to get anyone in before the sevco game. The transfer window opens on 1st and we play them at 12:30 on the 2nd. I'm not sure if the SPFL will be open to accept registrations before our kick-off and even if they did then it means our new signing(s) meeting his/their new colleagues in the dressing room before the game and hoping that they gel immediately on the pitch. Unless we can sign a free agent now and/or it is someone that has already played for us very recently.

You're right, but if McKenzie is fit and there is the will to get off our arses, we can get him. I would put him in with jetlag, so bad do we need a proper centre back. The chances we will move as soon as the window opens are slimmer than us winning 5.0 there though. We should have identified players we want by now, although, again, with us that us never certain. But, if we are hoping to get him at all, do the work now and get him signed minutes after it opens. It can be done and if our board have any ambition to resurrect our season, they need to get on point. Again, no laughing at the back..

I've only read good things about this lad McKenzie but never seen him play (I avoid YouTube highlight reels as I reckon they could make me look as good as Messi). I'm with you on getting players in early but it never ever happens. We should always have a list of potential players that is being updated and contacts made with agents, etc, to suss out if they are even interested in coming to us. I'm hoping this is what our recruitment/scouting team do for their day jobs?

One wee boost is that Scottish football have been given permission to extend the current agreement for EU players for this transfer window so that they are NOT required to apply for a working visa.

You can tell if the clips are more than two minutes. I thought Duffy looked shit in his and he is. McKenzie is the real deal imo and will take the slagging if he's another shut defender which we usually target. If he played alongside Julien he would help him be the player he is too. It's pointless getting excited about us moving quickly as Lawell will go in trying to save ten bob and haggle like fuck. It could happen if we didn't have a board of dithering cheapskate bastards, but we do, so it will be Bitton at Ibrox.

Make it so Lenny...

We need to leave Ajer at right back......we need pace and width and that’s why MJ should get the nod until he runs out of steam.....we have to go back to what worked so well for us previously with 2 up top and Griff is the best finisher in the SPFL so play him.....make the changes straight away that need to be made when the tempo drops.....we need a big performance Celtic.....give us one...

Ajer..................Julienne..........................Bitton......................Laxalt
