Am thinkin back here....Big Jock never had bother like this...Tommy Burns didny hae bother like this...Martin O'neill didny hae bother like this....ffs even Rodgers didnae hae bother like this......WGS did...just a wee bit....but it was sorted pronto.....Lennon furst time here ...didny hae bother like how it is now....Am a bit worried.....If we dinny get it sorted for the Aberdeen game....how long dae we gie him ?????????????

I suspect it did happen to an extent in the past but there was no social media to stoke the fires and spread the tittle tattle so much. Also in the past clubs had such control over players' careers whereas nowadays players and their media savvy agents have much larger control in things. Big Jock certainly wouldn't have gotten away with much of his man-management style these days as players would be greeting about bullying and mistreatment.

Having said that, there is something amiss behind the scenes just now which need sorted out asap.

The game in hand is against Aberdeen, is it not? They are actually on a reasonably good run so being only 1 point behind after playing them is certainly not guaranteed.

We have had 11 games and NL still hasn't worked out a decent formation. In fact, we have had more games because of our enforced extended route to the Europa League group stages. Our last three games against secvo have been a disgrace with only The Wall preventing sevco from putting the League Cup in the cabinet where the Petrofac Cup currently takes pride of place (well, the only place!).

Covid might change many things but I have every suspicion that sevco wouldn't declare any positive tests (after all, they didn't declare their lack of testing during pre-season) so it will affect other clubs more than them.

Raising questions about performances after a series of miserable displays with the worst saved for the most recent is not a failure to keep the faith, it is what should be expected if the team or the club drops below an acceptable standard. NL will get criticised if the team underperforms, PL will get criticised for resolution 12 and for trying to bury the cheating of Rangers.

The league may not be won in October/November but if we don't watch out we could take steps to lose it.

So true can't win a title but easy to lose it.
First round of games sees us playing potentially point dropping oppersition at home, while they had them all away. Next time around we have them all away while they have them all at home including us. In the midst of all of this we have tough europa league matches on a Thursday. Have we made things harder for ourselves of course we have, have we got the depth and quality within the squad to cope with the demands, of course we have but it has to be sorted out very very quickly imo

The huns victories over us recently remind me off the victories we used to get in the nineties against them, most off them were irrelevant in the long run except a couple off cup wins, sevco first win the sleeket one played calum at left back ended up counting for fuck all, as was the one Lennon lost at the end off the season after the league was one and the team were just back from Dublin celebrating, next one the new year game again as we know counted for fuck all as sevco self imploded, the game last Saturday was more important for them to win cos if we would have fucked them with half a team the end was nigh so hopefully this is just another win for they cunts that count for nothing in the long run, there is a long way to yet this season so don't despair yet my fellow Tim's a know any defeat from them hurts, but if like their hollow wins of recent past count for fuck all in the big picture and we are sitting with the 3 trophies in paradise, I'll take that any day, Mon the hoops

It sadly is the way nowadays far to pampered with the money on offer and a get out through social media. Even fegie had to change his ways in the end. I think lenny is still very much of a old style manager and this modern and technical approach to football may not suit him at all.
