The winter Break? Why only the Premier?

Ok so I'm bored out ma nut with this Winter break, but I'm thinking the lower divisions don't get one? Do they not play in the same Country, under the same weather conditions? The last 7 years have been the warmest since records began, so it said on the news today.
So why do we need one, the English don't?

Good question. As one who always goes stir-crazy in whichever "break" is in session, it's weird to see that the SPFL has one and the EPL doesn't.

Possibly due to having a 10 team league, and less games? Just a guess.
