SPFL: Contingency for incomplete season to be discussed by all 42 clubs

Interesting

They should have had this agreed as close to the start of the season as possible (preferably before it started). Now clubs may have a certain agenda based on how they have started the season and the longer this drags out then the more determined they will be. My preference would have been a minimum of each team playing every other club at least hime and away then go on average points.

If this didn't occur then restart the season when possible with a pre-agreed format (have various scenarios ready now that can be implemented depending upon circumstances).

Interesting

Cannot see clubs idf it happened been able to refund all season ticket monies, that includes even the so called bigger clubs. Too much to lose. Maybe the way to tackle covid is to permanetly isolate player for like a month on and a week off like the rigs. Do it also in rotation so that a squad is always in the bubble ready to play should an incident occur on the week out the bubble whilst visiting family.

Can't see any changes as things stand just yet. The main reason is that of the europa league as if you can't play you forfeit the match and no way will they allow that to happen to sevco. If a reduced league is called the financial hit may well be to big for clubs to handle. My guess could be like England and looking for a bail out for the lower league clubs from the spfl

They had months after the last debacle to come up with a solution so here we are 11 games into the season and still making it up as sevco go along

They should have scrapped this years cups and play last years it's not as if there's gonna be any revenue lost ,scrapped these diddy internationals as Scotlands pish and they fkd up with the testing protocols , run a 30 game league no split and that's it simple

The forfiet and awarding of points denies the paying public the entitlement to watch a match they have paid for, the SFA may have rules regards forfieting, but as these are different circumstances and times games cancelled are now cancelled in advance and the cancellation forseen due to testing and results, so in that case the fans should be compenstaed the amount of the game they never got to watch. Clubs will not be totally out of pocket on catering and police and security stewarding etc.

After a post from Bigian65 on another thread there are much bigger issues at stake by the looks of things than that of the virus
