Stewart Robertson , the Sevco man in charge of whatever monies are left after paying his chairman's legal expenses , has produced a gem of a 'statement' (actually a Q and A session with Rangers( sic) TV ) which his chairman would be proud of . ( Questions no doubt provided by Jabba )
He accuses the Compliance Officer of changing the rules from last season and re-refereeing games - they should only be looking at cases of violent conduct and off-the-ball-incidents , he claims .
Well , all the cases involving Sevco players ( which is the gist of his rant ) looked at by the Compliance Officer HAVE involved violent conduct More-or-less , McGregor , More-or-less again , and again ....
He also claims that they have tried to support referees by not complaining - tell that to Willie Collum !
He insists that the BBC hold them to a different standard and highlight their misdemeanors more than other teams - he actually cites the More-or-less incidents at Ibrokes on 29 December to support his case . REALLY ?? Then he ignores the salient fact that the Columbian crotch-snapper received NO punishment for these assaults . But still Stewart is not happy !
He goes on and on about the attitude of the BBC to Sevco , always trying to put Sevco in the right and the BBC in the wrong - - but ignores the elephant in the room . The criminal chairman has still banned a BBC reporter from Ibrokes - and as long as that situation remains then the BBC refuse to deal with Sevco on the same basis as all the other SPFL clubs .
The ball is clearly in their court ( sorry to mention court , Mr King ! ).
