The refs in England issued a statement something like this,
A significant factual human error occurred. The match officials gave offside. This was incorrect and VAR should have awarded a goal. We do not know why VAR did not intervene. A full investigation will be carried out.
Would never happen in SFA land a statement like that.

Considering the amount of money involved in that league that’s a truly shocking decision,what a difference that could’ve made to the result??Like a said big mans carrying some luck!!love him hate them!!!

For those that never saw it, Liverpool had a player sent off because their tackler's boot bounced off the ball and followed through to hit a Spurs player's leg. Just seeing the last part made it look like a real legbreaker, but a straight red did look harsh.

Then 2 minutes later Liverpool scored a perfectly good goal which was incorrectly ruled out for offside - due to "human error" the VAR ignored the very very obvious error and did not intervene to allow the goal.

Eventually 9 man Liverpool scored a very late own goal to lose 2-1 at Ange's Spurs.

Expect repercussions after this farce of a game.

Both sending offs were fake too, over-the-ball momentum carried his foot into the player , the refs initial screen had VAR froze on the pic at the point of impact instead of the start of the infringement - for the first Red ! The goal was clearly onside and VAR was almost instant in denying it. The first booking for the second red was farcical. That's not mistakes when it's so consistent in favour of one team. VAR is now a major corrupt tool, just like MSM and the BBC. They can alter events, make mistakes and apologise, but not change the result. Their (lack of)intervention created a false result so the game should be void. Once that sort of accountability lands on their doorstep errors will reduce.
