Another more recent story I'd like to share took place in summer 2015
I'd been through at St Andrews on business and was driving home
I saw a sign for Cardenden and immediately thought of John Thomson and decided to go and see his memorial
Arriving in Cardenden I drove around looking for the memorial but couldn't find it
I noticed a memorial at the end of a long road way in the distance and drove up but It was a War Memorial I drove back into the town but the street was deserted
All of a sudden this guy appears from a house wearing g a RED32 HUN top
I jumped out of the car and asked him if he knew where the John Thomson memorial was located
He looked me up and down and said ' Aye it's in the Cemetery over there'
DUH!
