Frimpong's gone

Any player who doesn't play and give 100% in every game for the manager of the club , regardless of who he may be, he in turn works for the club , the same club which is funded and fueled by us....he doesn't like it? He can get tae fuck..... totally fed up with modern football/footballers
Well that will leave us not been able to field a team.
A managers job is to gel a team together and all play in a Manor where he can get the best out of the players within a team.
This won't and can't happen when a total clown is trying to run the show.
Many of our supporters have lost all respect for lenny the puppet so how can we expect the players to take the puppet seriously?
Already destroying potential careers of younger players so can't blame them from wanting out. Not one player has shown improvement on last season and even the 3 new faces have all declined since they started playing for this team and that includes Soro and Turnbull who still remain better than most at present.
Frimpong has great potential and with much better coaching will I believe get a good career for himself something he won't get under our current set up imo.
Many of the other want aways downed tools long ago and we still refuse to address the issue.
Many a manager have lost their jobs when players no longer believe in a manager and that has happened to far better managers than puppet lenny at present and we still employ him? Never in my lifetime have I ever witnessed a manager staying in a job while so uncaperable of carrying out the job he is payed to do, and never thought we would be the victims of such a carry on but we are of present

What's the plan? Do the people in control of our football club have one. Are they just hoping that forums like the noise and blogs and supporters groups just get fed up and burn themselves out.we've heard lots of story's about disgruntled players wanting away or coaches not giving 2 fucks sitting with thier arms folded giving the impression like they've given up.its no wonder the fans are up in arms.something has got to happen and soon this can't keep going on like this.

Frimpone's wee quote has shades of Moussa telling us all about the snake.

And probably most of us are familiar with stories going around about players not getting chances they were promised and wanting to leave. I know it has been difficult for Neil this season, but really he has been his own worst enemy with his team selection and insistent of playing long balls to the wrong players. From the outside looking in he seems to have no faith in the up and coming players and they him, the loss of Damien Duff is instrumental in this imho but the boards lack of action when everyone can see change is needed is tantamount to treason amongst Celtic fans.

Having said that Neil seems to have turned a decent profit on Frimpone and I'm sure the board are delighted with him for that

I'd thought that at times but remember the cup final? That seemed like a happy team and they were all over Lenny. Fuck knows whats going on
During the presser after the Frimpong exit discussion he was asked if any other players would be leaving. Answer ‘Yes’. But apparently just not this month.
Doesn’t sound like happy campers to me. And if JF is being allowed to leave how will the others who are not react? Things are bad enough at present without exiteers getting even more pissed off.

The Frimpong quote on social media is very reminiscent of the Moussaka Dembele situation, to also have two kids like Karamoko and Oko-Flex leave a like then it is something more.

If you think back there have been loads of issues, Boyata downing tools, selling Sviatchenko to bring in Compper, Morrison and Hepburn leaving to go to bayern, bringing kids and players in to send them out on loan or disappear into obscurity like Shved, Perez and Gutman.

Something has been wrong for a very long time and the fan base have been culpable of ignoring it til it was too late because of the domestic success.

There has been so much mis management for years in recruitment, coaching, training even the way the club communicate with the fans has disappeared unless they want our money, this club is a business that is run to gain a steady profit for those at board level without ever spending too much on all these things they can see a profit for just 1 player that will increase the bank balance for the coffers.

I think in any business staff have a shelf life especially in performance driven positions and surely our board has come to the end of their cycle.

My biggest issue with lennon at the moment is that he seems to be against the fans for having an opinion on his management and the decline of the team and also the flak aimed at the board, we seem to be so quick to jump on anyone like Nicholas who says everything isn't rosy but we are resigned to putting up with lennon telling us everything is rosy.

I understand the frustration in regards to that but I don't agree with personal abuse, there is a way to point out that his tactical inability in games like Ferencvaros, Copenhagen and the performance decline since he arrived along with the constant playing of favourites when boys like Turnbull, Soro and Welsh have performed better than Duffy, Brown and Christie when they've played. There is also the question of the coaching team and what they bring to the table, why don't we have a larger coaching group with specialist coaches for attack, defence like all the big clubs do?

Your question above is the nail on the head for me.

the coaching staff are very poor in my opinion, god knows what they have been asking of the players, they certainly haven't allowed them to flourish within their capabilities.

Looking back at frimpong, when he came he was a breath of fresh air, taking the ball down the wing, leaving players on their arse, as the season went on he was to my eye being held back, not so many darting runs with the ball, instead reverting to the easy pass most of the time until his natural instinct took him forward with the ball, so was he told to hold the ball and play back to the midfield instead of continuing his runs as it looked like it to me and i commented on this during the games, reverting to what forest staring doing during games of late upon lennons arrival, our coaching staff needs looked at from top to bottom as they have shown a lack of either experience or know how.

a clear out is required in the summer and i will be surprised if strachan and co survive. kennedy has a life line in PL and will be kept in some sort of capacity within the club.

Reading wee pingpongs "my demands haven't been met" quote is a bit of a head scratcher for me. I assume that he is talking about money, and that's unusual given that he had never played any first team football before he signed and was full of enthusiasm for the club. Then he throws in "you'll see ". See what ? If hes talking about European football then hes partiality culpable for the lacklustre performances of the team in Europe as are the others. These cryptic statements do my head in, if he has something to say then say it. He cant be complaining about playing time as he got plenty. We wont "see" if it's about money of course Leverkusen can pay more than us so no surprise there. This must be a dig at lenny, the management team and/or tactics I suspect. Even so, I'm astonished that a player who was disappearing into the enormous numbers of the man city youth team and given a platform to play for a club like Celtic would leave with a parting swipe at the club, I lived the dream but etc. Its wrong , he should be grateful that the club took a chance on him. His statement should've been thank you, thank you, thank you and nothing more.

They’ve all crawled under rocks boab
Here Neil have the job till the end of the season
You take all the shite that comes and we’ll come back out from under rocks when there a new manager and everyone’s got a nice shiny new season to look forward to
I don’t care what others say, I want a new manager but I’ll not join in the barrage he’s getting right now
He’s getting it worse than huns get it from his own support
He’ll always be a celtic legend for me
20 years won’t be soured by a few months where his team let the club down and he was culpable in that
For the sake of clarity let me say straight off I think Lenny's time is up. But the absolute diatribe he's being subjected to is way over the top. I even see some who think his record and commitment to the hoops doesn't matter a toss. Well, as somebody else said, include me out. Very disappointing attack on one of our own. Lenny will carry the can, I'm sure of that, but he is and always will be a legend as far as I'm concerned. For his own sake I hope it ends soon.

Just a thought folks, we've just sold a kid who's still learning the game to a club which I would think can't match us in terms of support and global appeal. ( I may very well be wrong in that ).
For me this is another reminder of how difficult it is to secure, and keep, players of a decent level. Sadly it seems to be all about the league players want to play in. After the manager, it looks like the scouting department is fast becoming the most important part of any club. I mean. 10-11 million for a work in progress ?

We are bound by our geography now...we will never attract the calibre of player we did circa MON days....sadly our model is buy cheap, bum up and then sell on..... something the currant buns are in the process of doing....it's the only way for Scottish clubs now..
The notion that we are a huge club is now thanks to TV , absolute nonsense...teams like wolves now attract more global interest than us...you only have to look at social media interest to guage it

Bayer Leverkusen get 70 million tv money just from playing in germany

nothing to do with CL tv money or income from leagues

70 million for being in German league on tv

thats possibly double our total income for this entire season if we come second during covid.

Not too sure if it's a case of others not being allowed to leave BB. Maybe be more likely that there's been no offers for them. Still a couple of days to go I guess. One thing for sure, at least another 3 or 4 WILL leave sooner or later. That plus, of course, players on loan. Big job ahead.
