These are suppose to be top footballers and they see fans as a sterile things that should just accept cash instead of loyalty.
Leicester are bigger in their mind coz they play in England. But they are only finacially better because the Satellite companies have decided to be sugar daddy to certain leagues to hijack all the best players as mercenaries.
But like Jock stein said. Fitba is nothing without fans. And sterile big money moves cannot replace loyalty. It may swerve some heads. But in the ned it will kill the loyalty from fans eventually. And no fans no big money sugar daddies to syphon tax breaks into offshore accounts.
Without the small fry clubs in every country there is no big clubs. And if the small clubs die and they will, then it will set in like gangrene and the whole game will be dead sooner than people think.
When tiny clubs in Oligarch leagues can outspend the big clubs that create the pasion outside the oligarchs then fitba is close to self destruct.
technology might kill the sateliite funding sooner rather than later.
