I actually think my middle-aged lardy arse could play in our team just now without any drop off in our play. Essentially you remain fairly static in a given area. If anyone passes the ball to you when you are standing still you immediately pass it straight back to them or else backwards to a deeper lying teammate.
If you do that 100 times a game then you end up with incredible %pass completion stats and boost our team possession stats, so guaranteeing your name is on the next teamsheet.
