And yet BR having full knowledge of how pistol Pete operates and who hinted that was why he left the 1st time still chose to come back.
We have just witnessed the same kind of transfer window (almost, no major players were sold) that he said was the reason he left.
I'm expecting a mass exodus in the summer. Title or no title.

But the horde will tell you everybody knows you need to buy at harrods if your celtic coz your ginger bottles can get you much better players there, again the problem lies with value added. might have a nice new ferrari but it pretty useless driving it about easterhouse with a spoonful of petrol and the guys in the hood trying to smash it to feck.

Brendan seems to make Ange players less valuable. leicester had big ambitions and in end brendan didnt change his style and with mega wage players he got them relegated.

hope he does better in our run in.

sack board for bringing him back. he done same at us on 3rd season league form was pish and despite having big wage players he got us dumped out of europe against teams with worse players and created havoc amongst the squad.

I have read enough of BR's comments now, to form my opinion, that he is not going to challenge the board on their signing policy. Nor to attempt initiate change at the top of the recruitment department either. I think he has succumbed to Peter Lawell's influence at the club. He sometimes makes, what I feel, are nothing more than veiled innuendos, regarding what he wants. Window dressing for the fans. Meanwhile Peter Lawell, Mark Lawell, Dermot Desmond and the board completely ignore him, and remain silent. So, the show keeps on running the way they want it to. This is insidious undermining. And until, he very publicly challenges both Lawells, they will continue to treat him this way. But by then it will be too late for him.

Yes they are wreckless but a bit like the lottery if it comes off it pays big time. Yes we've had £75 mill in the bank but it will become nothing if they beat us this year.
Shit or bust for them but as it stands I can put my hand on my heart and say they are in a better place.

much stronger team than we have right now and especially relative to european competition then and now

even with that superior team if they played for old wages way back then we probably dont do that well in europe coz back then other than odd season we lost early even then so playing against 10 stooges on the line every game aint gonna prepare you for europe even with messi in team

besides messi wouldnt get game under rodgers he goes forward

But that team we had back then in this market would be on way over 10 times wages we paid back then probably couldnt get larsson today on less than 10 million a year wages

And even if we had lrsson now i suspect rodgers wouldnt pass it to him
