It appears Sevco have gone public with their request that Collum isn't involved in anymore of their matches.
Now let's imagine our MiBs were free from biased. Just guys who love the sport, love their jobs and want to be the best they can be. But they are still human and make mistakes. Let's imagine Sima was not offside and Collum looked at the handball incident and genuinely felt it wasn't a penalty. Every ref in every league makes mistakes, in the view of clubs that feel aggrieved, but it never goes as far as asking for a ref to never officiate their matches again. The reason for this, is other leagues take away the chance of biased referees by making them declare their allegiances. We don't have this luxury in Scotland.
So what is the reason for Sevco requesting a ban. Well we all know the answer. Collum works at a Catholic school. Sevcos request, and reason, should be made public, in my opinion. It won't be, ofcourse. But the footballing public will know the reason. I really hope Sevco keep pursuing this. Their anger is clouding their judgement. They've not listened to Maddens plea to calm down as he knows the dangers of Sevcos attack...."opening a can of worms" is the term being used.
So what should Celtic, and the other Scottish clubs, next step be when Collum is inevitably banned from officiating their matches. Could this be the beginning of the end of the LRA grip on the game? Should all clubs get behind Collum and demand that all MiBs follow the same rules?
Or will we all remain silent as Collum slowly dissapears from the Scottish game with a wimper, and the LRA carry on, strengthening their grip on the game they've spent their entire existence corrupting?
Side note.......
Where the fuck is Maxwell!! When the VAR officials were fucking over Celtic at the beginning of its life in Scotland, this cunt was in every radio studio telling us all the fuck up and defending his officials from any criticism!! Has he uttered a word since the derby???
