even group stages doesnt balance their books and think of the bonuses required for players and the costs their fans might inflict on seville
season celtc got to eufa final they made monster loss and lost most of our high earners at pittance to blance books.
they are running on negative returns every season
cl helps them if they release their high earners and bring down their wage bill and pay off some of the bills that are mounting
if their fans do what the do in every euro final they reach then they might get banned again like 1972
on top of that can you envisage the horde if they win the cup and still fold like a pack of cards when all those players want bigger wages than they cant afford today as well as not buying more players
until they get sustainable with wages by selling they are in a bind
